Adverse Reaction:
Headache,Punctate keratitis, blurred vision, ocular irritation, pain or pruritis, Dry eye, eyelid margin, crusting, odema, Hyperaemia. May delay wound healing. photophobia Vitrous detachment Corneal epithelium breakdown (discontinue and monitor )
Contra-Indications:
Aspirin and anti-inflammatory induced asthma or allergy Contact lenses Special precautions- Avoid sunlight, Complicated ocular surgery.corneal denervation, Corneal epithelial defects, Diabetes, Ocular surface diseases Rheumatoid arthritis, Repeated surgery within short time period, Bleeding tendencies Pegnancy Lactation
Dosages/ Overdosage Etc:
Prevention and treatment of postoperative pain and inflammation associated in cataract surgery
Dosage-
1 drop 3 times daily for upto 3 weeks starting 24 hrs before operation As a additional drop should be asministered 30- 120 mins prior to surgery Not recommended for patients below 18 years
Pregnancy and lactation:
Contraindicated for use during pregnancy and lactation. Observe caution if required to be used.
