Bepridil, Diltiazem, Felodipine, Isradipine, Nicardipine, Nifedipine, Nimodipine, Verapramil, Amlodipine, Nisodipine, Clevidipine, Lercandipine
Refer verapramil-
Single incidence of increased susceptibility to caffeine and phenytoin toxicity have been reported. May inhibit hepatic drug metabolism.
May enhance antihypertensive effects of cal channel blocking drugs which have more potent vasodilating properties.
Indication:
Subarachinoid haemorrhage.

Adverse Reaction:
Headache, muscle pain, dizziness, nausea, GI symtoms, fatigue, joint pain, flushing, hypotension, rash, constipation, changes in heart rate.
Contra-Indications:
Hypersens.
Special precautions:
Safety in pregnancy not established. Monitor pulse and B.P.during I.V.therapy. Reduce dose in patients with unstable B.P.
Dosages/ Overdosage Etc:
Approved by FDA in December 1988
Indications: Subarachinoid haemorrhage.
Dosage: 60mg every 4 hours for 21 consecutive days..

1.Take the medicine exactly as directed by the physician.
2.Swallow the tablet whole,without crushing or chewing it. However if advosed by the doctor, you may break into half.
3.Take the medicine with food or milk.
