1.Inhalations- many patients do not use metered-dose inhalers correctly. Use verbal instructions as well as actual demonstration if possible.
2. Do not exceed recommended dosage. Excessive use may lead to adverse effects or loss of effectiveness. Do not stop or adjust the dose.
3. Do not change brands without consulting the physician or pharmacist
4. Notify physician of failure to respond to usual dosage or dizziness or chest pain.

These agents are used to produce bronchodilation. They relieve bronchospam by relaxing the smooth muscles of the bronchioles in conditions associated with asthma, bronchitis, emphysema, or bronchiectasis.
Pregnancy and lactation:
Pregnancy:
There are no adequate and well controlled studies in pregnant women. Use only when clearly needed.
Lactation:
Terbutaline and epinephrine are excreted in breast milk. Decide whether to discontinue the drug, taking into account the importance of the drug to the mother.
