Increased risk of cardiac arrhythmias with sympatomimics and anaesthestic agents(especially
halothane).
Severe sinus tachycardia with concomittant use with pancuronium bromide.
Cimetidine and erythromycin inhibit metabolism.
Rifampicin induces metabolism.
Anticonvulsants and sulphinpyrazone enhances clearance.
Increased incidence of adverse effect with concomittant ephidrine therapy.
Cal chanl blckrs inhibit metabloism.
Quinilone antibiotics reduce clearance.

Adverse Reaction:
Rapid I.V. adminstration hypotension and death. Neurotoxicity and seizures.
Cardiac arrhythmias.
Tachycardia,anorexia,nausea,tremors.
CNS stimulation (anxiety, headache, nervousness,insominia and hyperactivity in childn)
Depression and allergic reactions in few aggravate symptoms of fibrocystic breast disease in women.
I.M. administration: Painful and pain lasting for several hours.
Suppositories:Repeated adminstration causes proctitis.
Contra-Indications:
Hypersensitivity.
Special precautions:
CCF, pulmunory oedema, hepatic dysfunction, hypoxia.
