Phenylpropanolamine, Pseudoephedrine, Phenylephrine, Epinephrine, Ephedrine, Desoxyephedrine, Irridazolines- Naphazoline, Oxymetazoline, Tetrahydrozoline, Xylomethazoline, Cycloalkyamine- Propylhexedrine Refer Phenylpropanolamine

Dosage-

2-3 drops into each nostril one or more times daily as required

XYLOMETAZOLINE -NASAL

1.Allergies-

Tell your doctor if you have ever had any unusual or allergic reaction to

Xylometazoline or any other nasal decongestants. Also tell your healthcare

care professional if you are allergic to any other substances such as foods,

preservatives or dyes.

2.Pregnancy-

Xylometazoline may be absorbed into the body. However, xylometaxoline

has not been reported to cause problems in humans.

3. Breast-feeding-

Xylometazoline may be absorbed into the body.However, xylometazoline.

has not been reported to cause any problems in nursing babies.

4.Children-

Children may be especially sensitive to the effects of xylometazoline.This

may increase the side effects during treatment.

5.Older adults-

There is no specific information comparing use of xylometazoline in the

elderly with use in other age groups.

6. Other medicines-

Tell your doctor if you are using any other prescription or non-prescription

(Over-the counter) OTC medicine.

7. Other medical problems-

The presence of other medical problems may affect the use of xylometazoline.

Make sure you tell your doctor if you have any other medical problems

especially-

Diabetes mellitus -

Heart or blood vessel disease or

High blood pressure - xylometazoline may make the condition worse.

Over active thyroid
