Adverse Reaction:
Pruritus,erythema.oedema,dizziness,headache,vesiculation,bulla formation, onycholysis, acneform eruption, severe skin pain. Over-exposure to sunlight or UV radiation may produce severe burns. Orally: Nausea,mental effects including insomnia and mental depression.

Symptomatic control of psorriasis not responsive to other therapy.
Dosage:
Initial- take dose 2 hours before UVA exposure
Patient Information:
Use topical methoxsalen only on small defined lesions which can be protected by clothing from subsequent exposure to,radiant energy. If used to treat vitilgo of face or hands ,keep the treated area protected from light by use of protective clothing or sunscreens. The area of application may be photosensitive for several days and may result in severe burns if exposed to additional UV or sunlight.
