Drug Interaction:
Benfotiamine has no known negative interactions with any medications. In fact the use of some medications may cause a thiamine deficiency which benfoitiamine would likely correct.

Alcoholic neropathy
Diabetic neuropathy
Adverse Reaction:
In individual cases there may be allergic hypersensitiveness ractions wth skin reactions .urticaria may occur.
Contra-Indications:
If hypersensitiveness is suspected towards any of the ingredients
There are no known contraindications

Pharmacology-
Benfotiamine is the most potent of the antihistamines an unique class of thiamin derived. Benfotiamine dramatically boosts advanced glycation end products -fighting thiamin pyrophosphates TPP and cell-shielding transsketolase activity.
Pharmacokinetics-
Benfotiamine is better absorbed than thiamin itself and levels of thiamin and TPP remain higher for longer. Thiamin absorption from benfotiamine is about five times as great as from conventional thiamin supplements., and the effect is more impressive at the tissue level, brain and muscle.
