Adverse Reaction:
Nausea, diarrhea, cramps, Weakness, headache, dry mouth Rash, blood dyscrasias Metabolic disturbances
Erythema multiforme Stevens -Johnson syndrome
Exfolitive dermatitis Toxic epidermal necrolysis
Hyponatremia Reversible renal failure ( rare )
Contra-Indications:
Hyperkalemia Severe renal failure
Progressive renal or hepatic impairment
Hypercalcemia
Diabetic ketoacidosis Adddisons disease
Special precautions-
Hepatic or renal imapimemnt
Gout .
Elderly
Pregancy Lactation
Dosages/ Overdosage Etc:
Indication-
Oedema
Dosage-
Initially 2 tabs after breakfast and 1 tab after lunch.
Maintenance - 1 or 2 tabs on alternate days
Childen - not recommended
Pregnancy and lactation:
Observe caution if required to be used during pregnancy or lactation
