Indication:
Prevention of kidney transplant rejection
Adverse Reaction:
infections, fever, chills, bladder pain, chest pain confusion, cough or hoarseness fast heart beat flu-like symptoms frequent urge to urinate high blood pressure irregular or slow heart beat numbness or tingling around lips
Contra-Indications:
Allergy to anti-thymocyte globulin or rabbit protein pregnancy lactation
Special precaution- children elderly withdraw if chest pain, rapid or irregular pulse breathlessness, wheezing, odema of face or throat occurs
Dosages/ Overdosage Etc:
Prevention of kidney transplant rejection 1.5mg/kg body wt. injected i.v. daily for 7-14 days
Pregnancy and lactation:
Use contraindicated. Observe caution
