Indication:
Hypertension not controlled by losartan or hydrochlothiazide
Adverse Reaction:
Dizziness, asthenia, vertigo, orthostatic effects, diarrhoea, rash, Gi- upset, muscle cramps,leg pain migraine, urticaria, pruritus eryhroderma, hyponatremia insomnia, raised LFTs , malaise acute myopia secondary angle closure glaucoma rarely, thabdomylosis, angioedema anaphylactic reactions vasculitis hepatitis, cough, anemia
Contra-Indications:
Hepatic impairment Anuria moderate to severe renal impairment intravascular volume depletion, dialysis sulphonamide or penicillin allergy pregnancy lactation Special precaution- monitor serum electrolytes SLE, gout obstructive valvular disease cardiomyopathy aortic stenosis hepatic/ renal impairment severe cardiac insufficiency renal artery stenosis outflow obstruction

Hypertension not controlled by losartan or hydrochlothiazide
Dosage-
initially 1 tab daily increase to max, 2 tabs daily if reqd. not recommended for children
Pregnancy and lactation:
Use Contraindicated. Observe caution
