Potentiates methorexate, lithium, protein bound drugs Increased risk of GI Bleed with aspirin, corticosteroids, smoking, anticoagulants May antagonise or increase risk of renal failure with ACE inhibitors, diuretics Monitor oral anticoagulants, antihypertensives

Contra-Indications:
Aspirin allergy Coronary artery bypass graft surgery Advanced renal disease Third trimester of pregnancy Lactation

Dosage-
- 1.2g once daily Max. 1.8g or 26mg/kg daily, whichever is less, in divided doses Lower body weight, milder disease or on dialysis-initially 600mg once daily, max 1.2g daily
