Indication:
Hyperphosphataemia in adults with chronic renal failure
Adverse Reaction:
GI upset abdominalpain, constipation hypocalcemia, Potential deposition in bone, liver, stomach wall Dialysis graft occlusion
Contra-Indications:
Hypophosphatemia, Pregnancy, Lactation Special precautions- Acute peptic ulcer, ulcerative colitis, Crohns disease,bowel or biliary obstruction Renal insufficiency Monitor serum calcium,srum phospahte Severe hepatic impairment Prolonged use, labor and delivery May interfere with abdominal X Ray

Indication-
Hyperphosphataemia in adults with chronic renal failure
Dosage-
usually 1500 - 3000mg daily in divided doses,with or immediately with food. titrate accoding to serum phosphate levels Max - 3.75g daily Childen - under 18 years

Contraindiacted for use in pregnancy and lactation. Observe caution
