May potentiate action of antihypertensives. May increase cardiac depressant effects of propranolol
Indication:
Peripheral vascular disease. Mental deterioration ass, with cerebrovascular insufficiency
Adverse Reaction:
G.I.upsets,dry mouth,dizziness,vertigo,drowsiness,malaise, headache,tinnitus,skin rash, hypotension.
Contra-Indications:
Infants,lactation.
Special precautions:
Pregnancy,safety in children not established.
Dosages/ Overdosage Etc:
Peripheral vascular disease. Mental deterioration ass, with cerebrovascular insufficiency
Dosage-
Adult- 10mg tid Maintenance - 5-10mg tid
Max. upto 60mg daily in divided doses Intravenous- adult- 4-8mg by slow IV infusion ( over 30 min ) Intramuscular - adult- 2-4 mg bid
