tetracyclines, verapramil,
Fluorides, digitalis, cardiac gluycosides, phenytoin,
barbiturates , corticosteroids, ion exchange resins
Leave interval of several hours after bisphosphonates, levothyroxine
Food high in oxalic or phytic acids eg spinach, cereals
Indication:
Osteoporosis
Osteomalacia

Hydroxyapatite 90% granules +
Beta tri calcium phosphate 10% granules
c) Each vial contains :
Hydroxyapatite paste as 30% and 18% suspension
For acute cases of bone deformities only as bone grafting materials
Adverse Reaction:
Anorexia, nausea, vomiting
Constipation, abdominal pain,
Dry mouth, thirst, polyuria,
GI upset
Contra-Indications:
Hyphosphosphataemia, hypercalcaemia,
Hyperthyroidism, severe renal failure.
Decalcifying tumors
Special Precautions-
History of kidney stones
Mild renal failure or hypercalciuria
Monitor calcium levels and urinary calcium excretion
Dosages/ Overdosage Etc:
