Indication-
Cleansing of colon before colonoscopy
Dosage-
Recommended dose is is 40 tablets ( 60g of sodium phosphate ) taken orally with a 3.6 quarts of
clear liquid in the following manner-
Evening before - take 3 viscol tablets ( the last dose will be 2 visicol tablets with 8 ounces
of clear liquids every 15 minutes for a total of 20 tablets
On the day of colonoscopy procedure- starting 3 to 5 hours before the procedure , take
3 visicol tablets ( the last dose will be visicol tablets ) with 8 ounces of clear liquids
for a total of of 20 tablets
