Indication:
To control fecal odors in chlostomy, ileostomy or incontinence
Adverse Reaction:
A temporary darkening of the tongue or stool may occur.
Contra-Indications:
Special Precautions-
Pregnancy- data available for bismuth in pregnancy are poor and actual fetal risks
cannot be detremined
Lactation- bismuth is poorly absorbed into the systemic circulation
Dosages/ Overdosage Etc:
Indication-
To control fecal odors in chlostomy, ileostomy or incontinence
Dosage-
Take 1 or 2 tablets 3 times daily with meals .
Chew or swallow tablets as a whole
