Dosage-
Tetracaine is indicated for production of spinal anesthesia for procedures requiring
2 to 3 hours.
Dosage varies and depends upon the area to be anesthesized the number of neuroal segments
to be blocked ,individual tolerance , and the techniques of anesthesia
The lowest dosage required should be administered.
Vaginal delivery - 2mg to 5mg in dextrose
doses exceeding 15mg are rarely required and should be used only in execeptional cases
