Indication:
Essential hypertension
Adverse Reaction:
Tachycardia, hypotension, flushing,
Angina, headache, arthralgia, myagia,
SLE like syndrome with doses above 100mg daily
Proteinuria, increased plasms creatinine, hematuria
Renal failure, urinary retension,
Rarely renal damage, peripheral neuritis, paralytic ileus
Blood dyscrasias
Contra-Indications:
Idiopathic SLE, tachycardia, aortic or mitral stenosis,
Constrictive pericarditis coronary pulmonale, dissecting aortic aneurysm,
Ist half of pregnancy
Special precautions-
Coronary or cerebrovascular disease,
Severe renal failure, hepatic dysfunction.
Withdraw gradually
Lactation

Indication-
Essential hypertension
Dosage-
12.5mg thrice daily
Pregnancy and lactation:
Use contraindicated during pregnancy and lactation. Observe caution.
