Drug Interaction:
Drug must be given with caution to patients on beta-blockers, digoxin, potassium depleting diuretics.
Indication:
Ischemic heart disease
Adverse Reaction:
GI upset,transcient dizziness, tinnitus, headache. May cause or aggrevate ventricular arrhythmias.
Contra-Indications:
Severe ischaemia. Pregnancy Special precautions: Patients suseptible to ventricular tachycardia
Dosages/ Overdosage Etc:
Ischaemic heart disease
Dosage-
Titrate the dosage for best results Daily dose- 1st week- i tab of 60mg once 2nd week- 1 tab of 60mg twice 3rd eek- 1 tab of 60mg thrice
All tablets to be taken preferably after meals if significant improvement not noticed within 8 weeks, increase dosage to 6-8 tabs a day
Use titrated dose which gives optium results

Pregnancy and lactation:
Contraindicated for use during pregnancy. Observe caution
