Contra-Indications:
Acute phase of cerebrovascular accidents.
Special precautions:
Following CV accidents,acute phase should be allowed to stabilise prior to cyclospasmol therapy. Severe obliterative coronary artery disease, cerebrovascular disease

Adult- initial - up to 2g
Daily maintenanence 800-1200mg
Daily maximum 2g daily in divided doses

1.Take medication with meals.
2. Allergies- Tell your doctor if you have ever had any unusual or allergic raections to cyclandelate or other related medicines. Also tell your doctor if youn are allergic to any other substances such as foods, preservatives or dyes
3. Pregnancy- Studies on effects in pregnancy have not been done in either humans or animals.
5. Breast feeding- Cyclandelate has not been reported to cause problems in nursing babies.
6. Children- No specific information available comparing use of cyclandelate in children with use in other age groups.
7. Elderly- Medicine is not expected to cause different side effects or problems in older people than in younger adults
8. Other medicines- Tell your doctor if you are taking any other prescriptions or non-prescription OTC medicines
9. Other medical problems- Tell your doctor if you have any other medical problems- Angina or Bleeding problems or Glaucoma or Hardening of the arteries or Heart attack or Stroke (recent ) chance of unwanted effects may be increased

11. Missed dose- If you miss a dose of this medicine take it as soon as possible. However if it is almost time for your next dose go back to your regular dosing schedule. Do not double doses.

Storage- Keep the medicines out of reach of children Store the medicines away heat and direct light Do not store tablets or capsules in the bath room, in damp places near the kitchen sink Heat and dampness will cause the medicines to break down Do not store out dated medicines or medicines no longer needed. Make sure that all discarded medicines are kept out of reach of children

Cyclandelate is musculotropic direct acting smooth muscle relaxant with no significant adrenergic or blocking actions. Cyclandelate is also a mild calcium entry blocker and is active in calcium overload situations; this mechanism may be responsible for the improved blood flow properties and inhibition of platelet aggregation that occur with cyclandelate
