RACEMETHIIONINE - SYSTEMIC
1.Allergies-
Tell your doctor if you have ever had any unusual or allergic reaction to
Racemethionine. Also tell your healthcare care professional if you are
allergic to any other substances such as foods. preservatives or dyes.
2.Diet-
Make sure your healthcare provider knows if you are on any special diet.
such as low proteine diet.
3.Pregnancy-
Racemethionine has not been shown to cause birth defects or other problems
in humans
4. Breast-feeding-
Mothers who are taking this medicine and who wish to breast feed must
discuss this with their doctor
5.Children-
This medicine has been tested in children and in effective doses this
medicine has not been shown to cause different side effects or
problems than it does in adults.
6.Older adults-
Although there is no specific information comparing use of racemethionine
in the elderly with use in other age groups, this medicine is not expected
to cause different effects or problems in older people than it does in
younger adults.
7. Other medicines-
Tell your doctor if you are using any of the following or /other prescription or
non-prescription (Over-the counter) OTC medicine.
8. Other medical problems-
Make sure you tell your doctor if you have any other medical problems
especially-
Acidosis - or
Liver disease - use of racemethionine may make these conditions worse
