TRILOSTANE - SYSTEMIC
1.Allergies-
Tell your doctor if you have ever had any unusual or allergic reaction to
Trilostane. Also tell your healthcare care professional if you are allergic
to any other substances such as foods. preservatives or dyes.
2.Pregnancy-
Use of trilostane is not recommended during pregnancy.It has been shown
to cause serious problems including miscarriage in humans.
3. Breast-feeding-
It is not known whether trilostine passes into breast milk. However, this
medicine has not been reported to cause problems in nursing babies
4.Children-
There is no specific information comparing use of trilostine in children
5.Older adults-
There is no specific information comparing use of trilostine in the elderly
with use in other age groups..
6. Other medicines-
While you are taking trilostine it is especially important that your doctor
should know if you are using any other prescription or non-prescription
(Over-the counter) OTC medicine.
7. Other medical problems-
The presence of other medical problems may affect the use of trilostine.
Make sure you tell your doctor if you have any other medical problems
especially-
Infection or
Injury - trilostine may weaken the bodys normal defenses
Kidney disease or
Liver disease
