Nausea, insomnia, agitation, Impotence, orthostatic hypotension, arrhythmias,
Dryness of eyes (caution for contact lens users) Dellusional perception, paraesthesia
Salivary gland pain, Visual accomodation disorder
Sports events - restricted
Contra-Indications:
Known hypersensitivity to chlorthalidone
Severe renal or hepatic disease, (coma hepaticum)
Sick sinus sydrome.
Severe coronary insufficiency.
Conduction disturbances
Recent MI Renal failure Cerebrovascular disease
Pregnancy - Discontinue 4 hours surgery, resume as soon as possible after surgery Initiation and termination of therapy should be performed gradually to avoid suddden excessive decrease or increase repy in blood pressure
Do not discontinue therapy abruptly without adequate substitution therapy
Lactation
Depression. peripheral vascular disease.
Porphyria
