Indication:
Thrombo-embolic disorders
Adverse Reaction:
Rash, fever, Diarrhoea, Leucopenia, Agranulocytosis, Hepatitis, Renal damage Discolorattion of urine Eosinophillia
Contra-Indications:
Hepatic or renal dysfunction, haemorrhagic conditions Within 24 hours of surgery or labor Pregnancy, lactation Special precautions: Hypertension, Renal impairment Vitamin K defeciency Elderly Weight changes Acute illness

Dosage-
Adults- initially 200mg followed the next day by 100mg Maintenance - usually 50 150mg daily Children- not recommended

Nephrotic syndrome- ( 1315)
In its overt form nephrotic syndrome is chararcterised by albuminuria, hypoalbuminea, hyperlipidermia and edema. These abnormalities are direct or indirect consequences of excessive glomerular leakage of plasma proteins into the urine. Heavy proteinuria is the hallmark of of the nephrotic state.
