1. Normal Practice-

Medicines are normally presctibed by a Doctor and it generally dispended by qualified Pharmacists, either in Doctor's clinic or in hospitals or by Chemists in shops.. Drugs are required to be stored at proper temperature as specified  by the manufacturer.

It is important for the effectiveness of the medicines it should be used properly. Self medication is permitted provided it is used properly. Mis use can result in some adverse effects which is easily avoidable.

It is the intention to bring out the salient features. Hence relevent details as prescribed by US FDA guidelines as per USPDA 1997  are brought out clearly in the following chapters.
