such as Venous thrombosis, Atrial fibrillation woth embolization,
Pulmonary embolism,and as adjunct in the treatment of coronary
occlusion

Adverse Reaction:
Bleeding, allergy, liver damage, reversible alopecia, skin necrosis, headache, anorexia
Contra-Indications:
Haemorrhagic conditions Impaired renal or hepatic function within 24 hours of surgery or labour Blood dyscrasis, pericarditis, Pericardial effusion, subacute bacterial endocarditis Pregnancy
Special precautions:
Lactation Hypertension, elderly, reduced protein binding GI disorders, severe hepatic failure, hepatic dysfunction

Dosage-
8-12 mg on ist day 4 - 8mg on 2nd day Maintenance dose- usually 1-8 mg daily

Contraindicated for use during pregnancy and lactation- Use only if needed
