Coumarin anti-coagulants and hypoglycemic agents ( especially sulphonylureas )
Methotrexate , certain anti-inflammatory agents, uricosuric agents, spironolactone and corticosteroids
Valproic acid, acetozolamide, highly protein bound drugs, urinary alkalinizers,
ACE inhibitors, beta-blockers.
Antacids with enteric coated prepns.
Chronic heavy alcohol use
Indication:
Pain
Dysmenorrheoa
Adverse Reaction:
Allergic or asthmatic reactions.
GI upset /bleeding
Prolonged bleeding time.
Salicylism
Reyes syndrome
Contra-Indications:
Peptic ulcer, haemophilia or other bleeding disorders
Aspirin- amti-inflammatory induced allergies
Viral infection in childfren and teenagers
Lactation
Special precautions:
Gout
History of bronchspasm or asthma
Impaired renal or hepatic function
Dyspepsia, Elderly,Children
Diabetes
Pregnancy ( avoid at term )

Maximum - 6 tabs per day
