Drug Interaction:
May attentuate the action of levodopa
Concurrent use of analgesics , antimuscarinics or benzodiazepines
Additive beneficial effect with concurrent use of analgesics, antimuscarinics or benzodiazepines
Indication:
Billiary colic
Adverse Reaction:
Vertigo, nausea, vomiting, dry mouth
Contra-Indications:
Severe renal/hepatic /cardiac dysfunction
Porphyria
Special precautions-
Excercise caution in patients with renal/hepatic/cardiac dysfunction
Dosages/ Overdosage Etc:
Billiary colic
Adult-
40-80mg tid
Child-
1-6 yr 20mg 3-4 times daily
> 6 yrs - 40mg tid
Pregnancy and lactation:
Contraindicated for use during pregnancy and lactation
Observe caution if use is needed
