Indications:
Sedation,hypnotic
Dosage:
Individualise dosage.
Maximum single dose is 1g. Sedative- 30 to 50mg 2 or 3 times per day
Hypnotic- 65 to 200mg per day
Elderly - reduce dosage since patients are more sensitive
Hepatic/renal impairment - reduce dosage
