Anticoagulants- anticoagulant effect potentiated by 17-alkyl testosterone derivatives ( eg. anabolic steroids ) Avoid this combination.
Sulfonylureas- hypoglycemic action enhanced by methadrostenone Monitor blood glucose and observe patients for signs of hypoglycemia

Glucose tests- Anabolic steroids have altered glucose tolerance tests. Monitor diabetis closely and adjust insulin or oral hypoglycemic dosage accordingly Thyroid function tests - Decrease in protein bound iodine PBI . throxine -binding capacity, radioactive iodine uptake and increase in T 3 uptake by resin, free throxine levels, remain normal.

Dosage:
Inject deeply IM preferably into the glutal muscle . Adults- 50 to 100mg weekly.

Nandalone - Anabolic steroids
1. Individual allergy - Tell your doctor, if you have ever had any unusual or allergic reaction to anabolic steroids Also tell your doctor if you are allergic to any other substance, food, or preservatives.
2. Pregnancy - Use of anabolic steroids is nort recommended during pregnancy
3. Breast feeding - It is not known whether anabolic streroids can cause problems in nursing babies. There is little experience with use in mothers who are breast feeding.
4. Children - Anabolic steroids may cause children to stop growing. In addition, they may make male children develop too fast sexually and cause male-like changes in female children.
5. Other medicines - Certain medicines should not be used together due to interactions. However, tell your doctor if you are using any other prescription drugs eg., acetoaminophen, amiadrone, androgens, anti-infectives by mouth, antithyroid drugs, carbamazepene, chloroquine,estrogens, gold salts, methyl dopa, oral contraceptives, phenytoin, valproic acid, anticoagulants.
6. Other medical problems - Tell your doctor, if you have any other medical problems eg. breast cancer, diabetes mellitus, enlarged prostrate, heart or blood vessel disease, kidney disease, liver disease.
7. Dose - Take this medicine as directed by your physician.
8. Missed dose - Do not miss any doses. Take your missed dose as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular dosing schedule. Do not double doses. 8. Storage - Keep out of reach of children. Do not store in the bath room, near the kitchen sink or in damp places. Heat or moisture may cause the medicine to break down.
9. Outdated medicines - Do not keep outdated medicines or medicine no longer needed. Be sure that any discarded medicine is kept out of reach of children.
10. Side effects - Check with your doctor immediately if any of the side effects occur. Males and females- yellow eyes or skin, bone pain, nausea, vomiting, sore tongue, swelling of feet or lower legs, unusual bleeding, unusual weight gain.
Pregnancy and lactation:
Elderly-
geriatric patients treated with anabolic steroids may be at an increased risk of development of prostatic hypertrophy and prostatic carcinoma
Pregnancy-
contraindicated because of possible fetal masculinazation
Lactation-
Because of potential for serious adverse reactions in nursing infants, decide whether to continue nursing or discontinue the drug
