Drug Interaction:
Antacids, sucralfate, calcium, Fe Zn prep reduce absorption of ciprofloxacin
Concurrent use with cicosporin may lead to tanscient increase in serum creatinine levels Increases in plasma levels and elimination of T12 of theophylline
Potentiates oral anticoagulant effects Disulpharam -like effect with alcohol
May affect metabolism of caffeine resulting in clearance of caffeine
Indication:
Infections of urinary tract, respiratory tract,
infections of bone & joints,skin & skin structure,
Adverse Reaction:
Nausea, headache,
Vomiting, fatigue, abdominal pain,
Depression, dyspepsia
Constipation, dry mouth
Some times diarrhea Metallic taste, Urticaria,
Erythema and rashes
Rarely convulsions and haematogical changes
Severe hypersensitiviyt reactions
Contra-Indications:
Hypersensitivity Patients with a history of blood dyscrasias
Special precautions-
Renal impairment History of seizures
Ensure adequate hydration and urinary output
Avoid alcohol ingestion
Not recommended for use in pegnancy and lactation
Not recommended for children Inadquate waterintake may cause to crystalluria

Indication-
Infections of urinary tract, respiratory tract, infections of bone & joints,skin & skin structure,
Dosage-
1 tab bid for 5- 10 days depending on severity and response
Pregnancy and lactation:
Not recommended for use during lactation and pregnancy
Not trecommended for use in children
