Drug Interaction:
Effect potentiated by other anticholinergic drugs and tricyclic antidepressants
It significantly delays transit time of swallowed capsules in the oesophagus
Thus the absorption of concomitantly administered oral drugs is delayed.

Adverse Reaction:
Dryness of mouth,tachycardia,blurring of vision,drowsiness.
Eye drops: Prolonged use may lead to irritation,hyperaemia,oedema,conjuntivitis.Increase in intraocular pressure may occur especially in patients with closed angle glaucoma.
Occassionally psychotic reactions.
Transdermal delivery system:Bilateral mydrasis,contamination of finger and rubbing of eye may result in unilateral fixed dilation of pupil,glaucoma,contact dermititis,psychotic reactions Nausea and dizziness after removal.
Contra-Indications:
Glaucoma,paralytic ileus,BHP.
Special Precautions:
Driving, elderly, hepatic/renal disease, pregnancy, lactation.
Dosages/ Overdosage Etc:
Indications:

Dosage:
Adults- 0.32 to 0.65mg SC or IM.give IV after dilution.
Children:
0.006mg/kg.Maximum dosage 0.3mg.
