Refer - Ferrous Fumarate
Tetracycline and antacids reduce iron absorption. Iron salts decrease absorption of levadopa, penicillamine and ciprofloxacin.

Adverse Reaction:
Overdose and haemosiderosis. Abdominal pain ,nausea, vomiting. Diarrhoea or constipation.
Contra-Indications:
Repeated blood transfusion, anaemia not due to iron defeciency, iron storage/absorption diseases, haemoglobinopathies.
Special precautions: G.I.disease, infection.
Dosages/ Overdosage Etc:
Anemia
5-10ml twice daily caps 1-2caps daily
