THIAMINE - VITAMIN B1-SYSTEMIC
1.Allergies-
Tell your doctor if you have ever had any unusual or allergic reaction to
Thiamine. Also tell your healthcare care professional if you are allergic
to any other substances such as foods. preservatives or dyes.
2.Pregnancy-
It is important that you are receiving enough vitamins when you become
pregnant and that you continue to receive sufficient quantities throughout
your pregnancy. However, taking large quantities of dietary supplement in
pregnancy is harmful to the mother and to the fetus and should be avoided
3. Breast-feeding-
It is important that you receive right amount of vitamins so that your baby
will also get the vitamins needed to grow. However, taking large quantity
of dietary supplement while breast-feeding may be harmful to the mother
and /or baby and should be avioded.
4.Children-
Problems in children is not reported with normal daily recommended
amounts.
5.Older adults-
Problems with older adults have not been reported with intake of daily
recommended amounts. Studies have shown that older adults may have
a lower blood levels of thiamine than younger adults.
Your doctor may recommend that you take a vitamin supplement that
contains thiamine.
6. Other medicines-
Tell your doctor if you are using any other dietary supplement
or prescription or non-prescription (Over-the counter)
