Analgesia - an analgesic agent used during the induction and maintenance of general anesthesia
Dosage-
Induction of anesthesia - 0.5 to 1 mcg/kg/min continous IV nfusion
Children- 1 year of age and older - continuous IV infusion
maintenance of anesthesia with Halothane ( 0.3 to 1.5 MAC - 0.25mcg/kg/min
do with Servoflurane ( 0.3 to 1.5MAC ) - 0.25mcg/kg/min
do with Isoflurane ( 0.3 to 1.5 MAC )- 0.25mg/kg/min
