Contra-Indications:
Do not use additional contraception
Presence , history , promi of thrombosis/thromboembolic events eg. DVT, PE MI TIA
angina
Multiple or severe cardiovascular risk factors.
Pancreatitis associated with hypertriglyceridaemia ( including history )
Severe hepatic disease
Previous or existing liver tumor
Sex steroid inflenced malignancies
Discontinue 6 weeks prior to major elective surgery
Reinstate 2 weeks adter full mobility resolved
Dosages/ Overdosage Etc:
Indication-
Acne
Severe female acne refrractory to prolonged oral antibiotic treatment
Dosage-
Males not recommended
Females- 1 tablet daily starting on first day of cycle then 7 tablet free days.
Withdraw 3-4 cycles after acne or hirutism has resolved
Do not conitinue treatment solely to provide contraception
Not recommened for contraception alone
Children- not recommended
