Indication Type Description:
Drug Interaction:
Potentiated by other antispasmodics,some antihistamines,phenothiazines, disopyramide and quinidine. Delayed gastric emptying reduces absorption of other drugs.
Indication:
Symptomatic relief of biliary and ureteroic colic
Adverse Reaction:
Rare arrhythmias.Dry mouth, blurring of vision, difficulty in swallowing, talking, constipation, urinary retension, glaucoma.
Contra-Indications:
Glaucoma,BHP, paralytic ileus, pyloric stenosis, ulcerative colitis. Special precautions: Children, elderly, CVS disease, thyrotoxicosis, hypertension.
Dosages/ Overdosage Etc:
Symptomatic relief of biliary and ureteroic colic
Dosage-
1-2 tabs 2-3 times daily
