Chlormezanone/Chlorzoxazone- Drowsiness, weakness, nausea, dizziness, skin rash, flushing of skin, lightheasded ness, headache, Confusion, excitement, depression, Dryness of the mouth, GI disturabances, Cholestatic jaundice, Jaundice may occur,

Liver damage reported orange or reddish -purple urine Anaphyloid reactions, Angioedema, fatal hepatocellular toxicity Eryherma mutiforme, Steven-Johnson syndrome and toxic epidrmal necrolysis

Chormezanone/Chloroxazone- Hypersensitivity, porphyria, liver disease, Lactation Special precautions- Impired renal/liver function, Pregnancy and lactation, Known allergies, Tasks requiring mental alertness may be impaired Monitor liver function

Dosage-

Chlorzoxazone- Adult- initially 500mg 3-4 times daily may subsequently reduce to 250mg 3-4 times daily Max- 750mg 3-4 times daily

This drug may impair the mental or physical abilities for th performance of potentiall hazardous tasks such as driving or operating machinery Avoid alcohol while taking this drug Notify physician if skin rash, sore throat or fever occurs.

Safety for use during pregnancy and lactation has not been established. Use only when clearly needed and when the potential benefits outweigh the potential hazards to the fetus
