Patient Information:
1. Notify physician if fever chills, nausea, vomiting sore throat, unusual bleeding
or bruising, yellow disclouration of skin or eyes,swelling of the feet or legs or
abdominal pain or joint or flank pain occurs.
2. May cause diarhea, fever, and wewakness. Notify physician if these become
pronounced.
3. Drink plenty of fluid while taking this drug
4. Contraceptive measurers are neccessary during therapy for men and women.

THIOGUANINE - SYSTEMIC
1.Allergies-
Tell your doctor if you have ever had any unusual or allergic reaction to
Thioguanine..
2.Pregnancy-
Tell your doctor if you are pregnant or intend to have children. There is a
chance that this medicine may cause birth defects if either the male or
female is taking it at the time of conception or if it is taken during pregnancy.
In addition many cancer medicines may cause strelity which may be
permanent.
Tell your doctor right away if you think you are pregnant while receiving this
medicine.
3. Breast-feeding-
Tell your doctor if you are breast feeding or if you intend to breast feed during
treatment with this medicine. Because thioguanine may cause serious side
effects, breast feeding is not generally recommended while you are taking it.
4.Children-
Although there is no specific information comparing use of thioguanine
in children with use in other age groups, this medicine is not expected
to cause different side effects or problems than it does in adults.
5.Older adults-
There is no specific information comparing use of thioguanine in the
elderly with use in other age groups.
6. Other medicines-
When you taking this medicine it is important that you tell your doctor
if you are using any prescription medicine which may cause serious
adverse effects
7. Other medical problems-
The presence of other medical problems may affect the use of thioguanine.
Make sure you tell your doctor if you have any other medical problems.
