Apply 0.1% - 1% aq. soln or 0.5% cream onto affected area
Adverse Reaction:
Occurs only when taken orally.
Causes nausea, vomiting, corosion and necrosis of oesophagus. Dyspnoea, cyanosis. Depression of CNS, convulsions and coma,
I.V. injection can cause haemolysis and introduction into the uterus can lead to haemolysis and pulmonary embolism. Irritative skin reaction rarely hypersentivity and bum like reaction.
Matting or felting of hair when used as shampoo.
Interferes with urinary test for proteins.
Contra-Indications:
Hypersensitivity.
Special precautions:
For external use only.
If it comes in contact with eyes or skin wash promptly with soap and water.
