Indication:
Induction and maintenance of general anesthesia.
Adverse Reaction:
Flumiant hepatic failure, Malignant hyperpyrexia and pulmonary oedema.
Bardycardia, Hypotension, cardiac arrythmias, Respiratory depression, Shivering during recovery(occasional), Hepatitis, (multiple exposure).
Contra-Indications:
Unexplained jaundice or pyrexia following previous exposure.
Special precautions:
In obsteretics to be used in lightest plane, adrenaline to be used with caution,in neuro-surgery use with moderate hyper-ventilation, poor cardiac/liver function, early pregnancy, lactation.

Maintenance concentration varies from 0.5 to 1.5%. May be used in combination with Oxygen and Nitrous oxide for analgesia in obsteretics and minor surgical procedures.
