ISOMETHEPTENE , DICHLORALPHENAZONE, AND ACETAMINOPHEN
1.Allergies-
Tell your doctor if you have ever had any unusual or allergic reaction to
Acetoaminophen or this combination medicine. Also tell your healthcare
care professional if you are allergic to any other substances such as foods,
preservatives or dyes.
2.Pregnancy-
Studies with this combination have not been done in humans.
3. Breast-feeding-
Small amounts of acetoaminophen passes into breast milk.
However, this medicine has not been reported to cause any problems
in nursing babies.
4.Children-
Studies of thie medicine has been done only in adult patients and there is no specific
information comparing the use in children with other age groups.
5.Older adults-
There is no specific information comparing use of this combination in the elderly
with use in other age groups
6. Other medicines-
Tell your doctor if you are using any of the following-
Monoamine oxidase inhibitors- taking this combination when you taking or
within 2 weeks of a MAO inhibitor may increase the chance of side effects.
7. Other medical problems-
Make sure you tell your doctor if you have any other medical problems
especially-
Alcohol abuse or
Heart attack or
Heart or blood vessel disease or
Liver disease or
Stroke or
Virus infection of the liver - the chance of side effects may be increased
Glaucoma not well,controlled or
High blood pressure- isometheptene in the combination may make the condition
worse.
