URINE GLUCOSE AND KETONE TEST KIT FOR HOME USE
1.Diet-
Foods color the urine may make the test colors harder to read. Check the
urine sample for any unusual color when test results are not what you expect.
2. Other medicines-
Certain medicines may affect the results of your testing.When a new medicine
is prescribed to you, ask your diabetes care provider about possible problems
with the test you usually use. Also, make sure you tell your diabetes care
provider about any medicines you may use.
Medicines that color the urine may make the test colors harder to read, Check
the urine sample for unusual color when your results are not what you expect.
Many medicines (including non-prescribtion medicines) may cause false test
results, especially with certain tablet products.
3. Other medical problems-
The presence of other medical problems may affect your testing.
Make sure you tell your doctor if you have any other medical
problems especially-
Vision problems -if you are color-blind or have poor vision you will
need someone to help you in reading your results.
