Aminoquinolines absorption and therapeutic effect of aminoquinolines decreased
Adverse Reaction:
Headache, dizzinesss GI disturbances, Yellow discoloration of skin, and blue or black pigmenttion of nails may occur after prolonged usuage Psychosis, Exfoliative dermatitis Ocular toxicity
Contra-Indications:
Pregnancy Psoriasis Concurrent admin. of primaquine

Malaria Prophylaxis
Dosage-
600mg a week may be given in divided doses
Treatment- 900mg on first day 600mg on 2nd and 5rd day 300mg on 4th, 5th, & 6th day in divided doses
Patient Information:
1. Best taken after meals with a full glass of water, tea or fruit juice , unless otherwise directed by doctor
2. For patients unable to swallow or unable to tolerate bitter taste, the tablets may crushed and mixed with jam, honey or chocolate syrup 3.
Make sure that you take all the food so that you get the full dose of medicine.
Pregnancy and lactation:
Use contraindicated. Observe caution.
