For the treatment of infestation cused by round worms,
ascarids, hook worms, whip worms in puppy young dogs
Adverse Reaction:
Anorexia, nausea, vomiting, abdominal cramps, diarrhoea, tanusmus, SGOT elevators, headache, dizziness, rash.
Patient Information:
1.A single dose is required. This dose is based on body weight
2. May be taken with food, milk, juice or an empty stomach anytime during the day.
3.Using a laxative after taking the drug to facilitate the removal of the parasites
is not necessary.

PYRANTEL - Systemic
1.Allergies-
Tell your doctor if you have ever had any unusual or allergic reaction to
pyrantel. Also tell your healthcare care professional if you are allergic to
any other substances such as foods. preservatives or dyes.
2.Pregnancy-
Studies have not been done in pregnant women. However, pyrantel
has not shown to cause birth defects or other problems in animal studies.
3. Breast-feeding-
Only small amounts of pyrantel are absorbed into the body. Pyrantel has
not been reported to cause problems in nursing babies.
4.Children-
This medicine has been tested in a limited number of children 2 years age
and older, and in effective doses, has not been reported to cause different
side effects or problems in children than it does in adults.
5.Older adults-
There is no specific information comparing use of pyrantel in the elderly
with use in other age groups
6. Other medicines-
Tell your doctor if you are using any other prescription medicine-
Piperazine - using pyrantel and piperazine together may decrease
the effectiveness of pyrantel
