Use with gas permisible lenses or soft contact lenses as these will stain the lens

Discontinuation of therapy - discontinue use incase of persistent irritation or burning sensation.

Indication-

Diagnostic agent for corneal abnormality

Dosage -
Moisten the impregnated part of the strip with sterile normal saline. While the patient looks up
stroke the moistened tip along the bulbar conjuntiva . The patient should blink several times
to get the best results.

Do not wear contact lens while lissamine green strips are being used. Contact lens may become  stained
