Indication-
Constipation
Dosage-
Suppositories - insert 1 suppository into rectum and retain for about 15 minutes
It needs to melt to produce laxative action
Do not exceed 21 suppository daily or as directed by a doctor
Pediatric rectal fluid
Children - 2 to under 6 years of age- i unit or as directed by the doctor
Undr 2 years of age - consult your doctor.

1.Allergies-
Tell your doctor if you are have ever had any unusual or allergic reaction to
glycerine. Also tell your healthcare care professional if you are allergic to any other
substances such as foods. preservatives or dyes.
2.Pregnancy-
Studies have not been done in humans or animals.
3. Breast-feeding-
This medicine has not been reported to cause problems in nursing babies
4.Children-
This medicine has not been shown to cause different side effects or
problems than it does in adults.
5.Older adults-
Glycerine reduces water in the body and there may be increased risk of
that patients taking it could become dehydrated
6. Other medicines-
Tell your doctor if you are using any of the other prescription or
non-prescription (Over-the counter) OTC medicine.
7. Other medical problems-
The presence of other medical problems may affect the use of glycerine,.
Make sure you tell your doctor if you have any other medical problems
especially-
Confused mental states or
Heart disease or
kidney disease - glycerine may make the condition worsen
