Adverse reactions-

Voice alteration  10%    pharyngitis  34%   chest pain  15% 

Known hypersensitivity - chinese hamster ovary  cell products or any component of the product

Special Precautions-

Pregnancy-  this drug should be used during pregnancy if cleraly needed

Lactation-   caution should be excercised when dornase alfa is administereed to a nursing
woman

Children-  its use should be considered only if there is a potential benefit in pulmonary function
or in risk of respiratory tract infection 

Indication-
Cystic fibrosis

Dosage-
Recommended dose - one 2.5mg single use ampule inhaled once daily using a recommended
nebulizer

1. Dornase Alfa contains no preservative, and once opened the entire contents of the ampule
   must be used or discraded.

2. Patients should be instructed about the proper use and maintenance of the nebulizer and
    compressor  system.

3. Dornase must not be diluted or mixed other drugs in the nebulizer.
    Mixing of dornase alfa with  other drugs could lead to adverse physical/chemical
    and/or functional changes in dornase alfa or the admixed compound
