For the treatment of Signs nd symptoms of Benign Prostratic Hyperplasia
(BPH) in adults only

Antiadrenergic agents ( Peripherally acting )include- Reserpine, Guanithidine monosulphate, Guandrel sulfate, ( Alpha-1- blockers), Prazosin,Terazosin, Doxazosin, Tamsulosin, Silodosin, Alfuzosin Hcl

Contra-Indications:
Renal function impairment- Silodosin is contraindicated in patients with severe renal impairment ( creatinine clearance CrCl less than 30mL/min)
In patients with moderate renal impairment CrCl 30 to 50mL/min the dosage should be reduced to 4mg once daily taken with a meal.
No dosage adjustment is required in patients with renal impairment CrCl 50 to 80mL/min
Hepatic function impairment - silodosin has not been studied in patients with severe hepatic impairment ( Child Pugh score of 10 or greater and therefore contraindicated No dosage adjustment is needed in patients with mild modera hepatic impairment.

8mg orally once daily with meals
