Concomittant administration of high doses of antacids like sodium bicarbonate or Aluminium hydroxide or H2 blocks, decreases the paek plasma levels by 24- 42% and the extent of absorption by 27- 32%.
Oral anticholinegics delay the attainment of peak plasma levels but not affect the extent of absorption. Renal excretion is inhibited by probenecid, resulting in increase in AUC and also peak Cefpodoxine levels
